Simple story told in simpler way, is the triumph card of all Aziz Mirza’s movie. Kismat Konnection isn’t any exception above the formula or not any path breaking movie experience for viewers. It’s a feel good movie which can make you smile as it goes.

Though Kismat Konnection isn’t any path breaking movie but it’s a feel good experience. After the weekend hustle and bustle in office just an air of refreshment. This is the most what Kismat Konnection can offer you.

Let’s begin with the story.

Kismat Konnection is the story of Raj Malhotra [played by Shahid Kapoor], who is a smart and intelligent architect. But all the good works he is trying to do, is always become a catastrophe. He doesn’t even able to develop his dream project in spite of his hard work.

Then Raj meets a prophesy, Hasina Bano Jaan [played by Juhi Chawla]. She tells him that his luck will soon be in his favor as soon as he finds his lucky charm and never let it go, but she didn’t tell how.

Suddenly everything happens as he wants. He even manage to convince Sanjeev Gill [played by Om Puri], a renowned builder, to invest in his project.

Now meet Priya [played by Vidya Balan], a pragmatic, tough decision making girl, who believe in doing things, who has an objective to make the world a better place. Priya runs a community center.

Raj and Priya meets. Raj convinces Priya that he can save her community center from being destroyed and moreover open Priyas eyes to her skirt chaser fiancé [played by Amit Verma]. Now the questions are,

·         Will Priya became Raj’s lucky charm?

·         Will she be able to carry Raj to his destination?

Kismat Konnection is that kind of movie that has been told several times on silver screen but the presentation makes the difference. Though the second half is lengthy and dragged at some portions to reach the finale, but all well that’s ends well.

Preetam’s music is a great asset of the movie. This year belongs to him in music. All the blockbuster albums of this year, has been composed by this talented music director. “Aai Pappi [Neeraj Shridhar]”, “Ba Khuda [Aatif Aslam]”, “Kahin Na Laage Man [Mohit Chouhan, Shreya Ghosal]” is great numbers. Superb music. Binod Pradhan’s Cinematography is excellent. Stunning locale of Canada will surprise you.

Shahid Kapoor is excellent as Raj. This actor mature so much after Jab We Met, you can see in his acting. Vidya looks natural as usual and flourish her character with her brilliant acting. On the other hand Om-Puri, Himani Shivpuri did justice to their character.

But the one who steals the show is none other than Juhi Chawla. She is brilliant and lovable as well.

The veteran, Aziz Mirza, is in form again. This time not with SRK but still, he able to keep the show going on.

On the whole Kismat Konnection is a good movie with fine performances and sweet melodies. It opens well as it promoted and created a lot of hypes. On the box office the business will be great at multiplexes.
