Aashayein is the story of young lad Rahul, played by John Abraham, a gambler who suddenly wins 20 millions. During the larty of his success he propose to Nafisa, played by Sonal Sehgal, and annouce their engagement and suddenly crumples on the floor.

In hospital he comes to know that he has only 3 months remaining in his life. He leaves all behind and come to live in the hospital. over there he meets his inmates who change the outlook of his life. He realises the different shades, colors of life and above all desire to live.


The film directed by the talented director Nagesh Kukunoor. The movie has main lead John Abraham, along with Shreyas Talpade.
